To have the appropriate Australian regulations and / or laws changed to ensure that computer games ratings include an additional classification of 18 and over years of age (R18+). As a minimum this classification should be legally enforced under the same regulations that govern the R18+ Film classification in each state.

To change the regulations and / or laws it is necessary that all State Attorneys-General agree to the proposed amendment, thereby allowing the inclusion of an R18+ classification to the legislation. The South Australian Attorney General, Michael Atkinson, recently withdrew his support for discussion on whether an R18+ classification for computer games should proceed through the review and consideration process and, in the end, part of the National Classification Scheme.

To ensure the necessary change to the National Classification Scheme we are therefore lobbying all State Attorneys-General.
